One of my all time favorite shots.
I've always felt like she had a face that could create some iconic images.
This is one of them. Stunning.
And next to B.Shields? Wow, BS is one of the most beautiful women in the world, and there is our Carrie, side by side.
Once again Carrie is going for the quality and sophistication over trashy pop nonsence. In all honesty, I would take this over Rolling Stone any day of the week.

That is really the key here. There are a lot of young beautiful Hollywood types out there they could have used for this photoshoot. But they picked Carrie. That tells you something about her status.

Also consider that the 4 other women in this photoshoot had been fashion models. And Anjelica Huston, Lauren Hutton and Brooke Shields were considered supermodels. So for Carrie to be part of this with no real experience as a fashion model is pretty remarkable.

True That, pk!!!!! I could not agree with you more...Carrie swims upstream against the trends & fads & "Flavor of the week" styles, favoring classic style & sophistication instead...Look at the doors that have opened & are opening for her!!! So VERY proud of her!

yup. carrie is definitely very highly regarded in many areas. she could be a fashion model if the singing thing doesnt work out

this could explain why she appeared in awe and somewhat shy in the videos

Cary...Jeff...You're both SO right on target, here...Of course they could have chosen any number of hot Hollywood types...They WANTED Carrie!!! Clearly, Badgley Mischka hold Carrie in high regard, I believe they see her as a classic beauty, & that her wearing their designs enhances their brand...I respect it so much that Carrie opts for classic style & glamour as opposed to much of what passes for it nowadays...It suits her so well, also...Who would've guessed that a small town girl whose fashion sense was sweats & t-shirts/jeans would grow into THIS?!?! Simply beyond impressive!

We just thought things would be quiet for our girl while she was working on her new album...I think it's safe to say we were mistaken, lol...
