Thread: 9513 review on ITYS

The 9513 has discovered the way to stay in the spotlight and be noticed is to rail against Carrie Underwood!! Nobody even knows or cares that they exist till they come out with a hatchet job reveiw!! They get hits from irate Carriefans and they get hits from all the haters that just reinforses there veiws! Carrie Underwood is way beyond this kind of fabricated reveiw! So if i was you guys i would consider the sourse and remember they were utterly wrong about everything they have ever said about her. So instead of admitting there wrong they come up with more confuluded points that have no basis in reality! I think there just pissed because obviosly they have absolutly no influance whatsoever because Carrie is country music and they are living in the past and cant face the present or future!!!

I just signed on now, and look at the nasty comments that Jim Malec had to say about Carrie. He is a known Carrie critic on the 9513, but tonight he was particularly harsh. I am not sure what started all the trouble, but he is a self-righteous little jerk who seems to thrive on his own perceived self-importance. This blog comment says it all. It is unreal!

OK, let’s open that can of worms.

Taylor Swift may be a crappy singer, but at least I feel like she has something to say. She has a story she’s trying to tell. Underwood? Not so much. And, in Swift’s case, that counts for something.

Underwood’s supposed greatness is predicated on her voice, but if she’s going to build a career on a foundation of singing, she deserves to be held to a very high standard when it comes to…well…singing.

And frankly, it all feels underwhelming to me. When she sings, I feel like I’m listening to a really, really good karaoke singer. All the notes are there, but there’s this detachment, almost as if she doesn’t own her own material when she sings it. Underwood has a fantastic voice, but she is nowhere near a top-tier singer, because she doesn’t seem to understand that singing is about more than hitting notes.

Tonight they really showed their true colors in their comments. They attacked not only Carrie, but her fans too, calling her fans Fanbots or something like that.

What did they expect the reaction to be from Carrie's fans? Joy? They trashed her yet again, unfairly, so it is pretty clear they are not an impartial blog.

lets leave these guys alone. they aint changing. why waste our time on them? most of the reviews have been good; dont let them ruin things for us. posting comments on their site just increases hits for them

true... and that rick person just attacked me too, personally. lol It is the same old crusty group of haters going back and forth. You can't really have a conversation with them because if you disagree with them, you are attacked.

i am not big fan of Carrie like most of you and i can give my unbiased opinion, Carrie's version is gorgeous... those folks at 9513 have an agenda against a few girls, i don't think we should hear them, they try to use "WISE" words to make people believed them, to me they are losers...what is important is the listeners to like the song.

Carrie is Country Queen of Music Today! Carrie is here to stay. They should be prasing Carrie for sticking to country music instead of crossing over. Carrie is the real deal and people can;t seem to leave Carrie alone! ITYS is a great song! Carrie did a incredible job on her rendition of the song!

^ But oddly, they seem to love Taylor Swift, despite the pop remixing and lack of country on her album. So it is sort of hypocritical, that they like a pop re-mixer, but hate Carrie for not being "country" enough. lol They are definetly inconsistent and hypocritical.

So that tells me they are not just blinded biased traditionalists: They just hate Carrie. Period.

I say Carrie just put out the music you like and screw the bias critics w/ an agenda (unbias critics welcomed though ) . I'm so sick of 9513 and their biases. They don't feel anything from Carrie's music b/c they choose to not feel anything from the get go. Carrie we love you and your music and you are doing a great job and you and your music does touch people. If people like this don't like it, tough. I bought your album SH b/c of your song JTTW which moved me so much I cried as i heard it on the radio not even knowing it was you singing this song until the dj mentioned your name after the song was over. I said "wow, Carrie Underwood?....really? that girl from AI?, really? she sounds like a pro. and this song is so touching/moving." That song had an effect on me so much that I then checked you out on youtube and loved your live performances and so bought your album and starting following you ever since and loved her music. You bring alot of joy, happiness, and brightness into this world. Keep it up

lol true! What we learned from this is that the haters will keep hating on Carrie even if she released an entire album of Hank Williams' type songs, and dressed in a gingham polka dot dress with a straw hat. lol

So she may as well release that G n R cover album after all! lol

Some of you are just taking it too seriously. You shouldn't have expected anything any better. They called CR the worst album of 2007 and gave a thumbs down to every single released thus far (except JAD, but who knows what it would have gotten if it wasn't over the certain subject matter).

Do yourself a favor and move on with your life.

Yes, a GNR album would be great but Carrie loves country.

You know i dont think its Carrie they hate i think its what Carrie represents they cant stand!! The fact that she was discovered on a reality show is something that there never gonna get over! And they tolerate Taylor simply for that reason and shes not Carrie! I agree with Jade on this one screw them who cares what they say they have proven that there biases trump any rational thought!! As They show Carrie no respect i say show them the same by not giving them what there after thats hits on there site!! Carrie is the real deal and they cant stand it so its really pretty pathetic and funny at the same time!!!

This one review is completely pointless when I look at all that Our Carrie has accomplished! Thankfully, many, many, many other "critics", voters, and actual important individuals in the music industry see things completely differently than 9513!

yea this is what really makes me mad
i know everyone has their opinion and noones opinion is wrong, but i think that when your only 1 out of many that dont agree...then you are a little off
i really dont understand how he can say carrie only hits the notes
she has soo much emotion in her songs....JAD at the CMAS?....and in concert.........crying in DFTRM? im sorry i just dont agree at all

Sorry but I feel more in Carrie's music than in alot of other artist's music. Otherwise I wouldn't be a fan of Carrie and follow her career like I do. So this reviewer doesn't speak for me and countless millions that went out and bought her music too and loved it....lol. Can't wait for the next album I'm sure that review on 9513 will just be lovely too. Can't wait. (sarcasm).
