This is BIG news! Carrie and Brad will make great hosts for the CMA's. This is a big honor too, the CMA's are country's premier awards and hosting the show is a big deal.

I doubt if they will be doing the duet. They will be to involved w/ the hosting and each performing one of their own songs. However, it would be lovely. The other fans base would probably revolt w/ any more Carrie & Brad time. |

I'm sure that most of the stuff that the hosts do (even Reba) is scripted and written beforehand - and all on the teleprompter.
This is soooo incredibly awesome for Carrie and Brad - has anyone as new as Carrie ever hosted the CMA's? It seems like it is always the veteran artists. Of course, Carrie is as big a superstar as the veterans, but this is just absolutely wonderful for her. This will be soooo enjoyable and funny to watch her and Brad interact as hosts and will definitely make the whole show worthwhile. Now, just one problem....I wanna go to the award show!

Co-hosting is fantastic news. However, I hope JAD has reached #1 on the charts by then because hosting may result in a special performance, like a duet, instead of JAD. Not that that would not be nice and very special. However, if JAD has not reached #1 by then, it would not get the extra push this show would provide. Maybe, if we are lucky, we will get both or all three. |
