97.3 The Eagle and Carrie Underwood fans have teamed up to help put a smile on our troops' faces this holiday season.
You can contribute to this great cause by purchasing a Carnival Ride CD and bringing it to Carrie's concert on Oct. 23rd and dropping it in our help the troops box displayed by the Eagle tent. Those not attending the show can still contribute by sending a copy to Carnival Ride Drive PO Box 3364 Portsmouth, VA 23701.
Let's show our troops how much Hampton Roads cares about them and that they are in our hearts and prayers everyday. Thank you for your support on this great cause.
Thanks for posting this! I was going to post, but my schedule with work has been just to crazy. I will be at that concert, and I plan to get at least 1 CR for the box. If all the concert cities would do this it would help sales while helping the troops

thats awesome! I will do it if I can catch up with my bills and such. Im looking for another job right now (I spent most of my pay while in Newport News, now I just get about 150 a month lol).
As a side note: That area is very patriotic. I just came back from there like two days ago haha so its weird hearing about this town doing this.
