Carrie's new video definitely is not a favorite of the people at eonline
I am not sure what they mean, I thought Carrie did a good job with the video.

Underwood Carries Tune, But Video Underwhelms

We love Carrie Underwood. Really we do. "Before He Cheats" and "Last Name" have a permanent home on our iPods. Even her latest single, "Just a Dream," gets us choked up.

Which makes it all the more difficult to say we're not exactly loving the new video for the song. Yes, the subject matter, about a woman dealing with the loss of a loved one in the military is, without a doubt, moving.

Unfortunately, the country cutie's decision to cast herself as the grief-stricken wife in the video is a bit distracting at times, making us kinda wish she had, at least here, simply stuck to her day job.

There you have it. That's our two cents. Now give us yours. We're pretty sure you will.

Carrie did a GREAT, no AMAZING job, (I wouldn't say that if I didn't think it) they just need to watch the video a little more, that's all I have to say.

Wow, the one thing pretty much everyone here and on other forums agreed on was the acting being good and they seem to think the opposite - like the video was good but not her acting. I certainly don't agree with that. It is hard to get that emotional as a newcomer to acting so I thought her acting was great regardless of what all else some of us might disagree on regarding the video. Boy, that seems to be completely different then we were all thinking. Well, they mainly do feature actor celebrities so maybe they are doing the unfair thing and trying to compare her to a seasoned actress. Oh well, going to try and ignore that little review because I think they are wrong.

Ehh. Whatever, they can think that if they want! I found Carrie's acting amazing, especially considering she's never really ACTED in anything before. But maybe they're just too focused on "Woahhhh that's Carrie Underwood!" and can't get past that to realize she's a sad widow? Maybe that's what they mean? I could see that I guess.
