    Blog About the Opry Show

    Here's a blog entry about last night's Opry show. The blog entry includes a link to the audio for the blog entry. I corrected the transcript to match the audio version.

    11:49 in Nashville, day 2 of CMA Musicfest. Opera was good, it was long, I spent seven and half hours just sitting outside in the sunshine. I was really ready to just go home and go to bed, but I was glad I went to opera, John Conlee(?) did a fabulous show. Luke Bryan was very entertaining, and of course Ms. Carrie Underwood closed down the night. Standing ovations, picture taking like I'd never seen at the Opry, it was quite something to see her on the upper stage, in person. So, I'm glad I stayed up late. I'm planning on going home and catching up on all my e-mail coz I've been gone all day, and then hopefully sleeping in a little bit in the morning, I gotta pack a suitcase, and head downtown for Highway 15's live broadcast of the Chevy Parade and the block party. Check it out starting at 2 PM.
