American Idol has composed a hit list with the top 50 songs in the country. You vote for your top 5 favorite songs from the list, and they will be announced on the show as well as one of them performed by the artist. Carrie has 2 songs on the list, BHC and Wasted. BHC is currently at #5, and Wasted is #7. You can vote once a day. Voting is at americanidol.com, follow the Hit List link.

There is another thread similiar to this & I put this there, but I'll copy it over here.

I think this whole thing is a bit of a misstatement. Akon performed last night & his song was actually taped the night he was on with Gwen Stefani, so it wasn't even live. And not only that but the following people have already filmed segments for upcoming shows: Gwen Stefani. Fergie and Robin Thicke and Pink taped hers last night.

But it still won't hurt to support Carrie.

I saw that. The last time I looked it had Katharine McPhee as #1 if I was looking at the right thing. Our fans need to get busy.
