Listening Party - Friday Jan. 12!!

Hey everyone!
We are having a listening party on Friday and we thought we’d have it out in the Street Team forum so other CF member can have a little bit more of an idea of what goes on in CURT.

What we do on a regular basis as CURT members is stream stations and request Carrie’s songs. This is all fine and dandy but listening parties give us a chance to all stream one or two stations together! We all request the song(s) to the DJ on the specified station and we listen for Carrie and discuss in the thread.

Yay for some extra spins! Yay for fun discussions and randomness! Discussions are a GREAT way to meet new CF members.

Just follow these steps and you’ll be golden…

1. Make sure to check if the station streams for you ahead of time. Check the stations site…Do you need to register before you can listen? Does the stream work? It’s very important to check this WELL before the start time.
2. Please be sure you email the DJ BEFORE they start their shift. Some DJ’s don’t have access to their email while they are on the air.
3. Come to the thread at the scheduled time (or earlier if there is a pre-party ) – chat, talk about the music we are listening to, get to know each other, and have fun!
4. When sending your emails to the DJ make sure you don't mention CURT, CF, Radio/Street Teams of any kind. Just let them know that you are a huge Carrie fan and you are listening from wherever. Be polite in your emails and remember to send a thank you of some kind after the party.

Emailing the DJs - Don't know what to say...
Hey (DJ's name)! My name is (your name) and I'm from (your location) and I'm going to be listening online to (station name) tonight between (time [its a good idea to use their time]) your time. I would love to hear a song by Carrie Underwood (whichever one you want)! Thanks so much!
