No, a lot of fans don't want Show Me to be Carrie's lead single if it's the song Martina already recorded even if she didn't release it to radio. IMO it's a good song that Carrie would sound great on but there was other false info on Carrie's Wikipedia page so it's probably not reliable.Originally Posted by robinannhunt

Well, I'm not a carebear (I'm a Carrie fan), but if this is Martina's cover song, I really hope it's not the first single. I heard the song on youtube with Martina singing it, and even with Martina singing it, I just didn't like the song. It was way too poppy, in my opinion. And, there are many others who share my opinion.
If it's a different "Show Me", than that's fine. But, I don't think this song is even registered with BMI yet, so I don't think it's true.
