Just got an email from CMC, downunder. CMC (the CMT of Australia) has put a 2 CD package together for 2008 to sell in stores there. It includes SS in the international CD.
well thats interesting. I think this is an overall effort to get Carrie some minor exposure before she tours here. I mean comon shes been on about 5-6 CD's in the last few months in Australia, all compilations and stuff, it just seems to be happening all around the same time, too suspicious for Sony not to be wanting to bring her here. I guess that article in our newspapers about SOny trying to tempt her here is being brought to fruition!

I almost ran off the road.It was a very pleasant suprise.
It looks like someone we all know is getting ready to tour there in the not too distant future. I hope it happens. Australia has about 21 million people and they should have the chance to enjoy Carrie's talent just like we do.

I don't understand why Sony|BMG isn't releasing any singles down there. They say they want to break her, but there seems to be no promotion or anything.
I guess they want her to be down there promoting it before/during it's released, but idk.
If she comes to Australia I hope she comes to New Zealand too. I would love to see her in concert. She's on the ticketek site but they haven't got any dates or information yet, maybe she's comming here in the future, I hope so.
