Official Just Stand Up Benefit Show Discussion Thread

Well it is about that time! The show starts in less then 4 hours!

Carrie is already getting her makeup done so I bet there is a red carpet first, for fashion rocks/cancer special....

For those who don't know-- Carrie will be performing her charity song Live tonight in NYC at the Fashion Rocks show at Radio City Music Hall with the 14 other ladies. However- where it gets confusing-- is that Fashion Rocks won't be on tv until 9/9, whereas the Cancer special will be aired live tonight. They are using the same stage, venue and audience-- but filming 2 separate shows at the same time--- since many of the stars in the charity song are also appearing in Fashion Rocks, like beyonce, rihanna, and fergie.

Since she is not listed to be at Fashion rocks, chances are that Carrie will only be doingthe Cancer Charity special... but we can hope for other appearances anyway. lol

Hopefully the red carpet will start at like 7 pm est....and we can find some pictures on wireimage and getty.

Last year-- there were tons of pictures up on wireimage and getty from the red carpet and show-- the night it was taped-- so we already knew what carrie wore, etc-- before the show actually aired on tv.

It is a bit confusing-- but I am hoping carrie makes an appearance at both Fashion rocks and the cancer special, since she is there anyway...

Cannot wait!

3 Major Networks showing Carrie at the same time = MAJOR EXPOSURE for carrie!

I was counting until the red carpet stuff for wishful thinking pictures. lol

I bet carrie will be on the red carpet though-very cool!

I work from home working with various companies and one company I work for has asked the group of people that work with them to work the Stand Up benefit tonight so I am actually taking calls for those calling in to dontate for Stand Up 2 Cancer so if anyone calls in you may even end up talking to me. And no, I can't transfer to any celebrities because they are not giving us any capability to do that. LOL. They told us the celebrities will get the calls at random or such.

There wont be a televised red carpet right? And
if there is one, she will for sure be on there, maybe.
Now that I think about it, I dont know.
She might not do any interviews cause the first question
that would be asked would be, "Whats up with you and JS?"

Idk. Guess we have to wait and see.

Carrie said in her blog that she will be performing at Just Stand Up to Cancer tonight and she didn't mention anything about performing at Fashion Rocks. Carrie also said that she will start rehearsals for the upcoming tour tomorrow. I'm pretty sure there's gonna be a red carpet arrivals. I wonder what Carrie will be wearing on the red carpet arrivals?

Shes not suppose to be at Fashion Rocks.
But the performace of "Just Stand Up" WILL be on Fashion Rocks.

Carrie should have been invited

Well, we will see. When they find out we can't transfer to celebrities, I bet being a nobody, I will get a lot of hangups. Plus, I have to do this for 4 hrs and have to DVR the show to watch it later. But it is for charity, so it is OK.

Don't be discourage--the most important is NOT who you are BUT the time and energy that you have volunteered for a very good cause.
