The article i posted yesterday or the day before about Carrie's special appearence...of she is presenting a acm award which one do you guys think Carrie will present? I think AOTY because she won it last year....What are you thoughts? what will Carrie present?
AOTY is probably the most likely since she won last year and they did the same thing the previous year with New Female. I doubt it would be New Female again. One other possibility is that she will introduce Rascal Flatts as the winner of the Home Depot Humanitarian award. Though it is possible that Brooks & Dunn will do that as they got that award last year. And for some reason, I get the nagging feeling it might be EOTY.
Anyone else really excited about Kellie Pickler and Sugarland debuting their new singles, "Don't you know your beautiful" and "All I wanna do"!!!!!!
I'm really excited for Carrie to perform Also!!!!!!! I'd love to see Last Name live on an award show!!!!!! That'd be really great if Carrie presented the EOTY award!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually, I'm a little ticked off with AI. One of the biggest stars to come off of that show and they completely blew it off. I know they mentioned it on the website, but I felt for sure they would have said something on air.
As for CMT, well TS won all of the fan voted awards, so I guess that's why every other story is about her. She is the hot new country star of the moment. They probably received alot of complaints about Carrie because they decided to air her SS video for 7 hours in a row.

They'll probably mention her induction at the AI finale and the winner of TFV at the ACM awards if she wins that award. But AI haven't forgotten about who she is.

well, she had her chance to grab it and she knew she blew it
I hope so-- because I don't think I will be able to handle it if carrie loses again to taylor. It was one thing for a fan voted award where we lost because kellie pickler and miley fans pooled together to root for taylor....making it 3-1. But if carrie EVER loses a vocalist related award to taylor--- I will throw up, and have no respect for the ACM voters whatsoever. To me--- if taylor ever wins a vocalist related award against any other nominee, even if it is not involving carrie- that will tarnish the integrity of whatever the award is supposed to be about.
I can see Taylor winning Best New Female artist- she deserves that I guess- as it is not related soley to vocals. But if that bubble gum "country?" remixed album wins Album of the year- it will make the whole affair look like a joke, and will be an insult to the other much more worthy nominees.
Female Vocalist of the year does look at sales and radio success too- so that is why taylor got a nomination. But it also looks at vocal performances- (it is right in the rules book)--- and touring. So anyone that would pick Taylor over carrie for vocal ability, is insane.
Shania had lots of record sales and radio airplay, but NEVER won FVOTY at the ACM or the CMA awards but she did win an EOTY award at the ACM and the CMA.

is that right? wow... Well she also remixed her songs to pop very often. She got a lot of flack for it too. Guess they don't care if people do that now.
