Taylor shouldn't win AOTY because all it talks about teenage love life. I'd like Brad to take that award with 5th Gear.

I totally agree with the person who said not to discount Miranda. I'm not saying this because I'm biased, but I honestly think she has an excellent shot at AOTY. And if she wins FVOTY... I'll be super super happy but I won't be coming here for a couple of days. There will be total fallout if Carrie doesn't win.

^^^no even though most on here want Carrie to win, I think most think Miranda is talented and wouldn't be too upset if she won nor if Martina, Leanne won. Now if TS wins that is a different story.

I don't mind TS winning her other categories as she has been selling well and does have songs that people like and she knows how to work a crowd/audience but FVOTY should go to one of the other females instead.

i think she only has one nomination (grr) ... and she most likely will be singing LN to promote it JMO though

From this article at ACM's website I found that Carrie is going to make a special apperance but idk what through. What do you guys think Carrie will do? I guess performing isn't the only thing Carrie will do.

I am so hoping that Carrie wins FOTY because she had the best year....

Well I will be sad if carrie loses-- but as long as it is not taylor that beats her- I will not give miranda fans any problems- I promise. lol The reason-- is because at least Miranda is a worthy opponent. She is talented. She doesn't have Carrie's vocals by far---- but she has other attributes and does have a decent voice. I like her harmonizing in the Home cover song that Blake Shelton did. Miranda sounds better when she sings soft like that.

I can guarantee you that if Carrie loses to miranda, martina, or leanne- there will be anger and sadness-- but not rage. So it will be safe for you to come back. lol

Interesting. Maybe that means that Carrie will also be presenting an award? I know Sara Evans, Jewel, and Dr Phil, etc---- were all announced as presenters.

I hope Carrie gets to present an award AND perform--- because this way we will get to see her on stage twice--- if for any reason she loses FVOTY. At least we will still get to see her this way.

They want good ratings-- so they are smart to put carrie on twice...unlike CMT, who blew her off until the end when many already went to bed.
