I hope so-- because I don't think I will be able to handle it if carrie loses again to taylor. It was one thing for a fan voted award where we lost because kellie pickler and miley fans pooled together to root for taylor....making it 3-1. But if carrie EVER loses a vocalist related award to taylor--- I will throw up, and have no respect for the ACM voters whatsoever. To me--- if taylor ever wins a vocalist related award against any other nominee, even if it is not involving carrie- that will tarnish the integrity of whatever the award is supposed to be about.

I can see Taylor winning Best New Female artist- she deserves that I guess- as it is not related soley to vocals. But if that bubble gum "country?" remixed album wins Album of the year- it will make the whole affair look like a joke, and will be an insult to the other much more worthy nominees.

Female Vocalist of the year does look at sales and radio success too- so that is why taylor got a nomination. But it also looks at vocal performances- (it is right in the rules book)--- and touring. So anyone that would pick Taylor over carrie for vocal ability, is insane.

A small part of me wants Taylor to beat out Carrie just solely for the entertainment value of Teesharkey's posts and subsequent hysteria it would create on this board.......but just a very small part of me.

Don't count out Miranda Lambert, I have a feeling that this might be her year. I still see Carrie winning but wouldn't be surprised to see Miranda walk away with both AOTY and TFV.

Miranda got alot of critical acclaim for her album-- but I see album between miranda and brad paisely, with brad taking the win.

I think Miranda will get some votes for sure this year for FVOTY---- and I would much rather miranda win then taylor (if carrie loses). but I still think Carrie will win because carrie had a MUCH stronger year in terms of sales, chart success, touring success, and overall popularity.

Miranda got more critical acclaim then carrie for her album- but Carrie got very good reviews too.

and Carrie is the better vocalist off the two by far. However- Miranda is talented too-- way better then taylor. But vocally, Carrie has a strong edge.

Though I am rooting for Keith this year for ETOTY- that doesn't mean I don't also like kenny. I just really enjoyed keith's show this year.

I'll stand by you for IGB charity. Plus her new album 2 number 1s in less than 6 months. She should win FVOTY. I"ll throw up along with you if TS wins.

carrie will win female vocalist ... and taylor will probably win new female vocalist because pretty much EVERYONE (outside of CF )is like in love with her ... i can relate to her songs (i am 19 and i went through what her songs deal with) but she DOES NOT deserve female vocalist b/c carrie (and everyone else in the category, for that matter) is just waaaaay better than her sorry, taylor

The irony will be if after a great performance by Carrie and a mediocre bad one by Talor, they then have to give the award for the very best singer female in nashville to Talor.
It will make them look very stupid. They must realize that.
I know the tweeny boppers love talor, but the rest of the viewing audience and world will wonder what the heck is going on.

If Taylor wins FVOTY, its time to get the can goods and bottled water ready because that is a sign of the Apocalypse. Carrie is going to win. If for some unknown reason Taylor does win, then the ACM's are a fraud and does not need to ever be watched or commented on again.
