As a songwriter, he has won 12 BMI Awards (seven of them Million-Airs) including Mark Chesnutt’s “Goin’ Through The Big D,” the Oak Ridge Boys’ “Lucky Moon,” and “Today My World Slipped Away,” cut by both George Strait and Vern Gosdin. As a producer, he’s shaped hit records for artists including Chesnutt, Brooks & Dunn, Gretchen Wilson, Trisha Yearwood, Gary Allan, Montgomery Gentry, Joe Nichols and Rhett Akins.
One of his greatest accomplishments is Lee Ann Womack’s dazzling hit “I Hope You Dance,” which earned the 2000 CMA Single of the Year honor, a Grammy nomination and the 2001 BMI Country Song of the Year trophy.
Wright is currently President of Universal Records South.
eh that's okay
Love me or hate me..promise it won't make or break me =]]]]
thanx robin. Which album did he produce this year though? I had assumed he produced an album that was up for album of the year....but maybe I am wrong?
at first i thought it was a typo!
With friendship it doesn't matter how long
you've known each other, or how many fights
you got into. what matters is who said
"i'll be there for you"
and who proved it.
^ I had assumed it was for producing an album--- not a video- but I have no clue. Cary may know. lol
thnx for postinggg
