    Today was a great day! I went to a special pretaping of American Idol Gives Back! Their charity show in Hollywood at the Kodak theatre. I went with fangirljen and brokenbacktango. It was fun. I am so tired. We got a special invite from the Band From TV. It has Greg Grunberg who plays the drum. You all know him as Parkman on Heroes. I'm a big fan of his, so I was really excited to go. Singing today was Terri Hatcher. I was surprised by how well she can sing. Also in the band is James Detton, Jamie aka Chase on House (a new crush of mine ) and a few others that I havent learned their names. They did a cover song of Carrie Underwood's "When He Cheats." Then Carrie Underwood came out at the end.

    that is cute but I am very dissapointed it that is all she gets to do?? I hope she gets to sing her own song.

    If she flew all the way to LA, and all she gets to do is a tiny snippet at the endof someone else covering her song- I would be really sad...

    I want a new carrie song to download! lol

    I hope this is only part one of carrie's appearances...

    Heh, that must've been pretty cool for her. I want to hear what song she'll perform on her own (assuming she's performing one on her own...).

    They have to let her sing her own song too...after all, she is a much bigger star then terri hatcher, etc- so if would be pretty lame to have terri get to sing carrie's song, and carrie not get to do anything.

    If you read the whole blog this is a pretaping before the big taped show so there's probably a lot more show to come. The blogger left before the big taped show that's going on now and just saw the preshow taping.

    Oh yeah there BETTR be more! They wouldn't fly her out just for that...
    3/18/09 - All I can say about tonight is that for the first time I really want Carrie's music to continue progressing more to the traditional side of country music and I think it will. I don't care if it doesn't sell as well or all go #1, it's beautiful with Carrie's voice. Tonight I saw her as a Country legend for the first time.

    I think the pretaping means that it's the concert that's not going to be live and they'll show parts of it during the live broadcast on Wednesday

    I have a stupid question: is BHC really appropriate for idol gives back? lol I know it is meant to be funny and it will be- but it is sort of an odd choice for the charity show. lol
