Well I think it's easy to figure out...Taylor's cd was doctored up to sound more pop..a couple of new 'popish' songs added and her cd was re-released. Country and pop radio stations pick up on it ..she charts on pop and country and voila...after a year she's rediscovered or maybe I should say 'discovered'.

Who knows maybe her next cd will be so pop it won't be considered 'country' anymore. By the way who decides that?

But anyway ..there is no-0ne like Carrie..her cd and singles are doing great!

I agree, It must be considered that TS released a Cd and when it began to decline, went back to the sudio changed it, rereleased it and refocused its audience and all sales still count for the original album. (It's a bit like takeing your album and resufacing it as a Best of.., getting people to buy it and then turning around and saying that all sales still count toward the orginal cause in fact it "is" the original ("fooled ya!")...but you marketed it as two diffrent things. Kind of cagey. Don't really like it. But it worked and no one seems to care.

it's actually common practice to re release albums with extra material and even sometimes a dvd when the sales start to decline and they bounce up again
