actually i never thought about that and was just happy they were doing this. so you must be right that So Small will be a very good video in order the recieve this type of treatment.

but does this mean its better than video for "Stay"?

I couldn't care less what Kelly Clarkson's fans are or aren't saying about Carrie. JMO. It's more important what the CMT audience thinks of the video than what a few people who can't let go of Idol fan wars think.

I'm surprised that CMT decided to play SS for 6 straight hours. I don't think they just decided to do it on a whim so I guess they must have their reasons. I hope Carrie fans are able to deliver really big numbers to CMT, cmt.com, and i-Tunes so that the big event makes a big splash!

I wonder how they'll introduce Carrie's video and if they'll have behind the scenes footage and a special Carrie interview. I don't think there'll be much time though if they're really playing the video 66 times. I've read that each hour of TV usually has 42-44 minutes of programming and the rest is commercials. 66 plays divided by 6 hours is 11 plays per hour. The video will be about 4 minutes long and 11 plays times 4 is 44 minutes already.

How do the people from other fan sites who are complaining about this CMT Carrie thing know that this is a ONE TIME THING. It could very well be and most probably is, that this is something new that CMT is going to be doing from time to time with artists new releases and Carrie just happens to be first.

Don't they realize that thier favorite artist may ALSO be slated for this kind of thing by CMT, and then what are they going to say???oh well it's ok this time???or maybe even CMT will see that their are a lot of people complaining about it and cancel any further shows of this kind thus hurting these people who are complaining's favorite artist.

Umm I don't know what thread you are on over there but the one about Carrie's new album is most definately negative and I am not way off base at all, I can post some of them for you but I would not want to upset any Carrie fans with the gruesome details of the dissing comments on there.
