It is not the hot song on Mediabase. It is the hot song on the CCUSA countdown. Thye hot song is the fastest rising song in the top 5 and it gets an extra spin at the begining of the countdown. Since CCUSA is aired on a lot of stations, that extra spin on the show means a lot of extra spins for that weekend. |

JAD (+7 spins, -0.025 million AIs) had a slow day and remains at #5. However Kid Rock's ASL (-92 spins, -0.583 million AIs) had the expected big drop, which puts JAD and ASL very close on Billboard/R&R. So there is a chance that JAD will move up to #4 on the Billboard/R&R chart this week.

So If I'm looking at the chart correctly, Brad's WOAW has gone reccurent and that's why songs went up. But George's Troubadour is still there? Hasn't it fallen enough to be recurrent already?

A song must be dropping for 3 weeks to go recurrent.

If you mean from where it is now, it will continue to pick up spins from regular airplay. I will also get extra countdown spins next weekend, but will lose them the following weekend. It not quite time for a label push yet. |

Success.  Cary if Kenny loses the hot song next weekend, isn't there a chance that Carrie can take over two weeks from now instead of three? Or is my logic flawed?
