Cary & Co., from your perspective what are the most effective ways that we the fans can impact Carrie's run to the top spot. Is it best to keep requesting it from your local radio station? Does that make a difference? Are there other things we can do? Sorry to ask the most obvious of questions, I am new at this and just trying to figure out the best way I can help = )

Smith, here's what to do:

1) Find out your stations call letters. Call letters are the 4 letters a station uses as a name in the radio market. New Country 95.7 San Diego, for example, is KUSS. You can find the information by going to radio-locator.com

2) See this link? h ttp ://ww w.mediabase.com/mmrweb/7/stationplaylistrequest.asp?c_let=KUSS-FM

Replace the bolded part with your stations call letters and take out the spaces and put the URL in your address bar. Then, a list should pop up. Check "Just A Dream" by Carrie Underwood and answer the questiosn and you're all set. Do this around 3 times a day (with at least 3 hours in between each request) and that is a GREAT help for Carrie.

JAD (+55 spins, +0.361 million AIs) remains at #11. And just when you think you know what's going on, the charts take a left turn. It looks like Lost Trailers' HB (+54 spins, +0.309 million AIs) may not be done yet. And Kid Rock's ASL (+90 spins, +0.425 million AIs) is moving again.

On Hot AC, LN (-13 spins, -0.051 million AIs) remains at #33.

Boy that just shows you its fun to predict but this chart is just plain strange.The one constant is the steady unstoppable march to the top of the charts by Carries best single to date(IMHO)Go Carrie GO JAD!!!!!

Taylors new song LS is going to premiere on WUSN on Monday and also another station that I know of so that is going to put a wrench in the spokes so to speak, this is going to be whirlwind so get your pearls ready folks.

No Worries Awsomecarrie i just hope for the sake of our sanity she doesnt debut higher than 20( i believe thats were SS debuted) I hope the same thing that happened to SS happens to LS so Taylor fans can start pulling there hair out(they do have more hair) I dont want it to dupliciate So Smalls peak however.Thanks for the headsup Awsomecarrie!!

Actually, SS debuted at #20 on Billboard/R&R.

Cary, Georghe has also rebounded, although he didn't gain back everything he lost. Kenny lost 2 spins today, but I think he's just stalling, so I'm not going to guess as to which way he'll go (peak or rebound).

Stupid country music chart. Lost Trailers will die out soon though Cary, of that I'm sure.

Lost Trailers HB is probably close to the end of its run. Next week will be its 29th week on the charts.

But younger songs are harder to call as they sometimes stall and then rebound. Though the chart runs for the more popular artists are getting shorter and shorter. Rascal Flats' BTH has only been of the chart for 11 weeks and is nosediving. Sugarland's AUWTD hit #1 at 11 weeks for 1 weeks and is on the way down. Brad Paisley's WOAW will hit #1 at week 13 and probably only hold that spot for 1 week.
