Slowly gaining. Does anyone else not really like the new Garth song?

What has me more worried than the Garth thing is that there are so many big names ahead of Carrie on the chart that may have a crack at #1.
Unless radio dumps some of the others she'll have to hold out for quite a while.

With all the big names all bunched together at the top, we are going to see how much love there is for Carrie.

Some will make the top and some won't. We're just going to see how this plays out.

What I don't like is that virtually all the songs above SS (with the exception of TAMP and BOY) are still gaining AIs whereas SS is losing AIs. That means that Garth's song is really just an anomaly, it is not "causing" a loss in spins and AIs for other songs in the top 10. So I'm forced to conclude that if Sony/BMG is not behind the slowdown in SS, then it is possible that SS may have hit a wall of some sort. In other words, MTAM is not the cause of SS's problems.

I think that the PDs had to make a decision on who may be hurt the least w/ the decrease of airplay. All the others also have a new album coming out as well. I'm guessing the one that may rebound is the one w/ more time to do so per chart as well as time. At least that is my hope.

Everybody should sent an e-mail to their djs telling them they are sick of GB's song

I know I sure am and I haven't even been listening to my radio station

cause what's the point if Carrie aren't on it.

Cary... While voting on the yes.com today i noticed 4 no rankings for Carrie. Would I be correct in assuming these are new adds and if so could this be signaling the end of the slow down? I wondered since this is the first time I have seen these kind of ranks for a while and I on there for extended periods.

I think the not ranked is on non country stations playing SS where they have been playing BHC for a while. Gives the audience another song from Carrie.

Well, I sent one e-mail to a dj complaining about GB being played tooo much. I'll see if I get a response back. It would be funny if the dj agrees w/ me

Oh God the radio station I sent the e-mail to is playing GB's song right now!!! I hope they read my e-mail as this song is being played!!!

If it's not too much trouble I'd like to petition that in next weeks daily updates that you include Garth's changes. It will be fun to see how big the negative numbers are for Garth.

Well I've been on yes.com telling stations that are playing it to stop playing it sooo much because I'm too overexposed from this song and its not good to be played sooo much.
