I didn't see a majority opinion at Pulse saying a #9 peak. Were you looking at the thread of where SS will peak, Kyle, or somewhere else? Also, you gotta choose who you believe over there. The opinions of the country section regulars/chart-watchers count (Zazie, rowdawg, Jonsolo, TCorey, etc.), but there are also a lot of people who have no idea what they're talking about, but act/feel like they're experts... and of course, there are the always-present Idol-obsessed crazies who are just waiting eagerly for Carrie to fail so they can yell a Pulse-favorite word-- FLOP!. Basically, you gotta feel your way around there...

I'm so tempted to name names, but I'm too skerred. LOL!

Good day today! A positive in both spins and AI's! And, I'm glad to see that Luke Brian's AMFS has most definitely peaked and is dropping hard now. I knew it was just a matter of time. Some other songs are definitely on the verge, I believe.

Unfortunately, I heard Tim's IYRT a good bit today (when I had said yesterday that I hadn't been hearing it too much). I heard SS once (but, that's better than most days).

Oh, something else about today. When I heard SS, the DJ commented about her album being released on October 23rd, and that it's called "Carnival Ride." (I think it's the first time I've ever heard a DJ comment about her new album, definitely the first I had heard about the release date and the album title). Then, he commented about the video and about how he was floored with it.

Just thought I'd share. Hopefully, many of the PDs loved it as well (since they are in charge of what's played on the radio).

I just checked Itunes and the So Small video is number 1 still, but is now followed by BHC at number 2 with DFTRM at number 11. If that doesn't tell the program directors something, they're not listening. She is hot and in demand. Woot, woot.

SS (+14 spins, +0.153 million AIs) remains at #9. Luke Bryan's AMFS (-17 spins, -0.195 million AIs) continues to drop and SS will probably pass it next week. Also, Brooks & Dunn's POTHWB (-39 spins, -0.02 million AIs) dropped a little today. Even if it is on the way down, it will get a boost next week from the album release. So, it will probably be a few weeks before POTHWB drops below SS.

The usual pattern continues on AC. BHC (-4 spins, -0.113 million AIs) moves back up to #6 as it move back in front of Bon Jovi.

I still don't get how Dierks is getting bigger gains then carrie- as her song is so much better- but I guess that is because, brooks and dunn, kenny and brad are all on her label-- so they have to divide their spins among all of them-where as dierks may be getting all the love from his label, and all the push. just a theory.

I noticed that taylor's new song seems to be moving pretty fast up the charts, and I have no idea why...it is a really blah song, and her vocals on it are worse then usual. Though I don't like her voice, at least the teardrops song was pretty and well-written. So I could understand why it did well. But Our Song isn't even good lyrically-- it is a mess. By comparison, I actually like miranda's song, though I think it is about to fall.
