In week 32, CR sold 18.8K (-24%) for a total of 2.14M. In week 133, SH sold 8.7K (-9%) for a total of 6.44M. Graphs updated on first page.

A somewhat soft landing for CR from last week's peak since sales drop only 24% after a 58% increase. This is encouraging.

Most likely due to Father's Day, both Carrie's albums experience increases in sales. In week 34, CR sold 18.3K (+9%) for a total of 2.17M. In week 135, SH sold 8.4K (+8%) for a total of 6.46M. Graphs updated on first page.

you should to a catalog one for some hearts which debuted at #5 on that chart this week selling 6.370 copies for rounded sales of 6,480,000 so about 4 weeks short of 6.5 million

As we know, SH has finally gone catalogue after 137 weeks. I remember being very excited when SH went double platinum after a flurry of sales, I would never have expected it to go 7X and to be in the top 100 for 137 weeks! Great legs, Some Hearts!

no one knows for sure when CR will go 3x platinum as it depends mainly I think on whether CR will experience sales spikes due to crossover success of current and future singles. Let's say it takes sales of 2.7 M to be certified 3X, and CR is now selling 13K per week on average, then it will take another 38 weeks.

Hoping that CR sales will gain momentum (especially around the holiday season) and reach 3X sooner as it is a great CD comparable to SH.

In week 39, CR sold 12.6K (0%) for a total of 2.24M. In week 140, SH sold 6.5K (0%) for a total of 6.49M. This probably means nothing but this is the first time that both CR and SH sales are virtually unchanged (0%).

I have no idea Robin what sales are required to go 8X (Octuple platinum). Seems like a long ways to go though 7X these days is already a great achievement.

Has there been any recent release that has gone 8X?

No release that I know of that has gone to 8x but I would thing that if 6.2 or 6.3 (I don't remember) got her to 7x the 7.1 or 7.2 should do for 8x, lol.
