She's hangin' in there!!
Based on initial number, CR looks like it will be at around 6K this week. Lots of Michael Jackson on the chart.

She's hangin' in there!!
It is not a surprise that Michael Jackson's album is # 1 !!
Yup CR is still doing well
Since the 4th of July falls on this week, I'm going to be requesting All-American Girl to as many stations as possible to try and increase sales for CR.
I was expecting a Michael Jackson album to hit it big this week.. I expect all his albums to increase dramatically in sales.
CR is doing well..
you know the album i'm shocked is doing so well is the Hannah Montana soundtrack.
Good idea, on requesting AAG!!
She's now gone from the top 50 with 70%+ in. #50 is around 5.5K.
damn. Sales really fell off this week for Carrie.
How come other country acts seem to have went up?
Weren't the CMT awards the week prior?
Michael Jackson sold out everywhere in the country, and even all over the world.
He was number one on itunes all over the world the entire weekend, dominating the top 10 in songs and albums.
I say--- rock on, MJ.What a great tribute to him to give him great sales numbers.
I had most of his albums already, but I did order a few Jackson 5 albums on amazon, just before amazon sold out too. lol
CR is doing well.......i like Avira's idea...
Michael Jackson death sparks £10m music sales - mirror.co.uk
This article says Michael sold over 10 million albums since his death on thursday... worldwide I think. They expect him to pass Elvis in yearly sales after death.... so I bet his debts will eventually be paid off.
Michael apparently recorded 100 songs that were never released, that he left for his kids... but perhaps they will release them and make a ton of money off them.
wow 100 songs for his kids.....................MJ will be around FOREVER haha.
I'm a little confused. How come Michael Jackson's album are getting included in these charts? Shouldn't they be in the catalog charts or something since they were released years ago and fell off the original BB Top 200/100 Chart years ago as well?![]()
Tee you are probably the one person on this site that i can relate to the most on just about every issue. But sometimes like this post for instance you say something that even though its true maybe its better left unsaid! Its a tough period right now for Carries career because were between albums and others are getting alot of attention that Carrie use to get exclusively!! So great fans like us can either buckle under the pressure and start getting negative or we can keep being positive and rally the troops in anticapation of the great things to come!! Carries career is in a holding pattern but its about to explode in a kalidiscope of sound and vision and us Carrie fans have to be ready to take Carries career to the stratesphere where it belongs(!)

^ too bad. I would love to see Michael number 1 on Billboard again. lol
Well I assume you are talking about a particular country artist since pretty much all the others are down this week. I think the answer you are looking for is on the Top 40 and Hot AC charts where her current single went for adds 3 weeks ago and is climbing very fast. It's not the country audience. It is the pop audience.
lol agree. Sorry if I sounded negative. I was just surprised at the big drop off as she was holding steady at almost 10k for awhile... so I was just surprised.
But it is deathly quiet in Carrieland right now so a drop off in sales is expected.... and everyone went out to buy Michael's albums, including me... lol So I can understand a drop off this week.
