I just saw the pdf file for the first time... what's street date violation?
There is a new addition on the chart history this week. I have added the Country Aircheck chart for all singles from Before He Cheats through I Told You So.
I Told You So moves up a spot on the Hot Country Songs chart and 2 spots on the Country Aircheck chart and holds the #2 spot on both charts. I Told You So holds steady at #3 for a 3rd week on the R&R Canada Country chart. I Told You So moved up 2 spots on the Hot 100 to #34, but drops 2 spots to #27 on the Hot 100 Airplay chart. I don’t have exact sales for I Told You So, but it sold somewhere over 20.4K and should be close to 470K in total sales.
Carnival Ride’s sales dropped 5% to 15.6K. Total sales are at 2.820 million. Carnival Ride drops a spot to #8 on the Top Country Albums chart and drops 3 spots to #29 on the Billboard 200. Some Hearts holds steady at #8 on the Top Pop Catalog chart and remains at #1 on the Top Country Catalog Albums chart for a 9th straight week and its 31st week overall.
The More Boys I Meet fell off the Hot Country Songs chart this week.
Here are a few things to look for next week. I Told You So will top the Country Aircheck chart as it becomes 9th straight #1 single. But the outcome on the Hot Country songs chart is still in question. Also look for an album sales increase due to Mothers’ Day.

^I believe it's when stores put out the album for sale before the official release date.
Cary, where do you get all this info? You're like the king of charts lol.
Thanks so much Cary! when do you reckon she'll get that 3x platinum certification?
AI finale possibly?![]()
3/18/09 - All I can say about tonight is that for the first time I really want Carrie's music to continue progressing more to the traditional side of country music and I think it will. I don't care if it doesn't sell as well or all go #1, it's beautiful with Carrie's voice. Tonight I saw her as a Country legend for the first time.
I have a question to ask I haven't pay attention alot to Carrie's #1's but will this be her 10th #1 or 9th #1 single because on Idol when Carrie sang I Told You So with Randy Travis Ryan say she has 9 consective singles or was he also talking about ITYS too which it hasn't been number 1 let? I am just wondering
Thanks for the update Cary!

Billboard, R&R, Pulse Music Boards, Country Aircheck, Mediabase, All Access, JAM Showbiz website (for some Canada charts) and USA Today just to name a few.
They have given out several certification plaques on the AI results shows this year. So the AI finale is definitely a possibility.
