Can anyone find out which station isn't playing JAD?

I was reading COuntry Aircheck and noticed that there are only 4 artists who are being played by 122 stations. Kenny Chesney, Darius Rucker, Toby Keith, all in the top 3, and listen to this, Taylor Swift. Carrie, who's at number 5 this week is still only being played by 121 stations. That puts her at a serious disadvantage to those others, especially Taylor, who's jumped to number 8 this week and gaining like a freight train. Here increasing numbers have her set to, god forbid, overtake JAD in the next few weeks, and very possibly before JAD gets to number 1.

I think that we all need to buckle down and start requesting JAD like we've never done it before. I can think of nothing worse than to have JAD not achieve number 1.

If anyone knows how to find out which stations have added JAD, so we can figure out who we need to contact, your help will be greatly appreciated. Once we know, we can all request it from them each day, which I'm sure will help her out.

The one station you are trying to find is one out of many stations not playing her song. The 122 stations that mediabase uses is selected out of the whole radio population but they are published somewhere or maybe they only publish the adds and deletes. Not sure.

Obviously, is isn't about the singing or KC wouldn't be EOTY.

I think you would have to get list of the 122 stations and then a list of the 121 stations playing JAD. I have no idea how you could do that. It would have to be from mediabase.

I think someone on OFC said it was a station in Chicago not playing JAD, but I forget what the call letters were.

It's a very very small disadvantage, but not a serious one.

It is not WUSN in Chicago because they do play JAD. Not sure when though, lol. Maybe after midnight.

To say that not being played on a station in one of the largest cities in the country is just a small disadvantage is the understatement of the month. The audience impressions while being played just once in Chicago, are probably equal to having JAD played 100's of times on your local radio station. Check these numbers out.

WUSN plays it during the day, as I hear it, although it isn't much, I hear Love Story just as much if not more. I have said this before and I will say it again, JAD Imo just isn't as great as alot of members think it is, It just isn't having the impact on listeners and radio stations that some thought it would, it's really very simple. WUSN also doesn't ever play Carrie's songs in high rotation until they have peaked and are on their way down, then they play the crap out of it forever but by then it's just to late. WUSN like alot of other stations are on the Kenny/Taylor love bandwagon. Times are changing and we either need to accept it or go crazy, I do not feel like going crazy, I've done enough of that over the past 3 years following Carrie to last a life time.

True - but it's still just a small disadvantage. JAD is going to hit #1 in spite of the fact that one station isn't playing it. Yes, even one spin out of a major city would help, but we're still talking about less than 1% of the panel.

As to why they're not playing it, we don't know. They may have never played it. They may have already played it and it may have already burned out of rotation to that audience.

Some of the top hit songs do get 100% support of the panel simultaneously, but it's not uncommon at all to see a station or two (or even a handful) that aren't on board simultaneously.

Untrue - the song is ranked #3 on R&R's Callout chart, a chart that measures how much listeners truly like a song.

It might not be testing as well in your particular market. But nationally, it's testing extremely well.

Well things have changed in the last 2 days. JAD has moved up in the rotation on WUSN. So far today, JAD has been played 6 times on WUSN. LS has been played twice.

Edit: Make that 7 times. They are playing JAD right now.
