I was driving home tonight, listening to the Crook & Chase countdown, when they played Rodney Atkins' "These Are My People."
After the song was over, Chase said, "Do you know what you were doing one year ago? I know, neither do I." (He then went on to say that Rodney had the #1 song in the country one year ago).
Well, I *do* know what I was doing one year ago! I got to put my arm around Carrie after she put her arm around me

. One year and one day ago, I had my meet & greet - Woot Woot!
Right after that was over, Chase then said, do you remember how you reacted the first time you saw Carrie Underwood on American Idol? He said he remembers his reaction and he'd tell us about it next.
Well, he didn't tell us his personal reaction after the break, but Kellie Pickler's latest song was on next. They played snippets of a Kellie interview, who was praising Carrie. Kellie said that she loved Carrie from the very start of Idol, and that Carrie inspired her to try out for American Idol.
Crook then told Kellie that she could be Carrie's twin and they could be mistaken for twin sisters.
(Personally I don't see that at all -- but that made me think about the time Carrie told the story on how she was mistaken at a restaurant for Kellie Pickler. The person kept insisting she was Kellie Pickler & Carrie kept denying she was Kellie

).
At the end of the radio clip, Kellie said, "Thanks, Carrie!" in her long drawn out accent. I loved that!
