I don't want the whole album again. Just the extra material

I don't mind buying CR again for extra content, since I (obviously) love Carrie, but for me to do so, it would have to have at least one other song on it other than this. For that matter, I would prefer at least a mid-tempo song if not a faster song to add some energy back after this. The girl who sings that demo did do a beautiful job singing, but she's no Carrie (thank God, immagine if she actually had that kind of competition from newbies?! Martina, Reba, and Faith I categorize in a 'veterans' list (10+ years.))

If some new song were to be one that she cowrote, it wouldn't matter whether it's fast or not because I'd be the first guy in line! I remember people talking about a song called "Can You Spare An Angel." That would also merit the extra shell out just because it sounds like such a beautiful, religious song.

So, what other content than this extra song will be on the MusicPass card? I bought (well, my husband bought me for Christmas) the entire Enchanted CD just to get one song, so if there is some extra digital content, I might consider buying the MusicPass - especially if there is a new Carrie song - I can't do without that!

Didn't Cary say that the sale of a MusicPass card should count as the sale of a CD? I've only bought one CR so far, so this would give me some incentive to help Carrie out with sales too.

Forgot to ask - where can I buy one of these cards?

Well, this is the first time since I'm a member here that I will express a somewhat dissapointed/mad feeling about anything related to Carrie's management/label/or whoever co-decides with her to do this.
This move seems simply all about commerce and it bothers me that I just payed for a whole new CD and would have to buy the whole new CD just two and a half month after its release to get one new song. Can't they put this one at least on I-tunes?
It feels strange to be dissapointed about a new song that I would normally feel all-excited about. If Carrie Team wanted to make us feel like we get an 'extra' present or so, then they should release this song for downloading and not oblige us to buy the whole album again. (or, in my situation, not being able to get the song at all...)

At least with the Target DVD us international fans could get help with buying it from fans in the US, but this will totally lock us out of any legal way to buy it (like with I'll Stand By You).

I can't wait to hear Carrie's voice on Sometimes You Leave. I really liked the song and I think with Carrie singing it, it will just be magic. I'm definitely buying ths!

I know Target and Best Buy are a couple of places mentioned where you can buy it. I have to look at the website again to get the complete list.

Dunno about others but id definiately buy it again just for another song! Usually i wouldnt but...i mean...its Carrie! lol! Although the disappointing part about this, is that international fans wont be able to get this any legal way :'(. I cant wait to see how carrie sings with a piano-ballad. Its very different of carrie. Doesnt bother me its not that 'country' and i can tell why it didnt make the album. But i think its going to be a brilliant song!

Btw. On the FAQ on the website. They say that as soon as the website is launched...we are able to listen to 30 second previews of the songs before we download them. So when the site is launched (15th of January) we will be able to listen to it!

not quite. To download the album, you need to buy one of the Platinum Music Cards which are in the US...and im not sure yet if its possible to buy a card over the internet yet for us international people, so we'll have to see...

Yes! Finally! I've been dying to hear Carrie's version! I've already loved this song even before CR was released.
