With the loss of the sales bumps from the ACMs and AI, it was expected that Carrie would take some hits on the charts. But even thought there was some loss in sales, Carrie held up very well on the charts.

Carrie’s 2nd straight ACM Top Vocalist Female Of The Year award and her performances of Last Name at the ACMs and the American Idol finale lead to big sales increases and big chart gains.

Last Name was the biggest beneficiary of the week’s events. Last Name enjoyed a 193% increase in digital sales to 64.1K. This puts total sales at 181.4K.
