Carrie has been on just about every magazine you can think of. How many men get that kind of exposure. Not too many. The paparazzi are constantly looking for photo shots that show Carrie in something revealing like a bathing suit or even when she does not look her best. They follow her on vacation and everywhere she goes. They don't do this, in general, for the men. All of this and more adds up to extra exposure for the women.
In general, I think it is all good exposure but for some, who are not strong Carrie fans or even have a real dislike for her, they see it as too much exposure. They want an excuse to put her down. What we need to keep in focus is that they are in the minority and we should not worry about them.
Keep Carrie highly visible is my position especially whenever/wherever she can sing.
