Pre Show
So Kirsten and I got there about 8 hours before the show started (Thanks Rob for that) the drive down was about 3 hours (We took a few pit stops including Starbucks) and we walked around the fair and just kinda hung out, we tried to stay in the air condition though cause it was just too hot out. We didn't go on any rides but we did see a lot of cool stuff (And intersting) things while we were inside. After a while we met up with Rob and Perry as we were sitting down we hear a familiar song and booked it over to the gates where sound check was being done and sure enough it was "Twisted" being played but just the band though so we started to wonder where Carrie was at this point. After what seemed like forever the band started playing LN (I got the audio on my phone, ) and after a bit of a wait we see someone go up onto the stage and sure enough it was Carrie herself, she was in flip-flops (Looked like it anyways cause she wasn't as tall as she was when I saw her with the boots) and a gray shirt and comfy looking pants, she was singing and sounded really really awesome, we all cheered for her she looked over at us a few times and waved but never came over. She was so cute on stage to jumping around and being her usual self. Then the band started to play something and we all looked at each other going "This doesn't sound familiar" then we realized it was a New song we got really excited because we were getting a sneak peak of it before the show. We were trying to figure out what it was and then someone (Rob I think) realized it was "Voices Carry" and wow did she sound amazing on it, we were so excited to hear it that night. She didn't stay much longer and then went back to her bus to just hang out and get ready for that night.

Lady A:
So I missed some of Lady A because of the M&G but from what I could hear and then saw they were really good I had seen them during their sound check and they sounded just as great. I also managed to meet them before Carrie came out and they were so sweet and Hillary is really pretty. My favorite song they did was "All We'd Ever Need" it's been a favorite ever since I got the CD and it's a beautiful song, The crowd was really into them but I think they (Most of them) were more excited for Carrie of course. Overall they did a great job.

Miss. Underwood

I was standing up in the front before Carrie came out and I was so anxious when those lights went down the crowd went insane, although during some of the songs they SAT down (Wrong in my opinion) I stood through the whole show because that's how you do it) Carrie didn't have an elevator to bring her up on stage she just kinda walked on and started to sing FOTF. Her vocals were spot on as always and she sang most of the usual set but some of my favorites were Wasted on which she did a fantastic job and this is where I got my smile and wave from her to which was really awesome, even though I had just met her before hand but still she was bouncing around the stage and having a blast. GOOTT was great she said she was happy to be back and that we keep coming back as do we she said that we must be dating at this point or something and told us to give it up for Lady A, it as everything she does sounded really awesome I love the new guitaur and she had a lot of fun rocking it out with Shawn.

The crowd seemed into her this night, at least some of them did I know my section at points wasn't which was kinda sad to see but there were people around us who were having just as much fun as we were and didn't mind if we stood at all. Also I had seen Carrie without a catwalk once in York last year and this year she had a little elevated stage that was attached to the regular one I thought it was cool but after seeing her with a catwalk twice I would've hoped that they could have found room I don't think Carrie knew what to do without a it she still walked around the stage and was interactive but during songs like TMBIM where she usually wanders the catwalk for Prince Charmings she was just on the elevated portion of the stage.

Songs like JAD and IKYW are still powerhouse songs and she nailed both of them. She mentioned how JAD was her new single and even though it's kind of a sad song she hoped we liked it, and sure enough she nailed it, I love this song a lot and each time I hear it I feel like she just puts more and more into it same with IKYW it was really great as well, as soon as I heard the intro with the thunder I got very excited and they started to play the Opry version of the song for a bit (Just Piano) and then the band came in but it gave me chills it was that amazing. So Small was fantastic as usual the little vocal touches she adds are really great. She was very cute with her chatter as well, she was talking about Ace during TMBIM and talking about her really cool job and Idol and her family during DFTRM and thanking her bosses (Us) for putting her up on the stage. IAICA was really well sung as usual she mentioned that she was going to take us back to her hometown of Checotah along with the song being sung really well the visuals that she had went really well with the song, her high notes always impress me as well.

Before she started AAG she mentioned how she found some price charmings during TMBIM and that "It would be important to Deleware and to the world if there were some All American Girls in the audience tonight" the crowd loved it and sang everything with her. She let us sing this time which was very very cool and she seemed to enjoy hearing it sung back to her we sounded pretty good it was the first show I had been to where she let us sing it to her I guess we thought we were in a sining mood that night which we were or so it seemed we were. Twisted was my favorite that song has meaning to me after Atlatic City but it's been a favorite since the CD came out she puts everything into it, again walking around the stage belting it out I love her little hand motions she does right along with them there adorable.

Voices Carry was FANTASTIC she mentioned it was a new song and if we knew it to sing along and if we were to young to quote her "just clap or something" she belted it out and even though I miss NR this was really an awesome powerhouse song to kick it off before PC. Of course PC was a rocking song her and the band were totally into it as always running around the stage and getting the crowd into I noticed Jamies running arounf to which was really cute but her high notes were amazing as always and there was something about her outfit that made the song that much better, maybe it was the boots or the vest either way she totally kicked it up another notch with it and really got into it.

As soon as the band started to jam out I knew that LN was coming up and got really excited and as soon as those first few notes started the crowd went insane and Carrie comes out and says something like "Sing along if you know the words" as she started clapping and bouncing around and might I mention that just about the whole crowd was singing right along with her it was really awesome to hear she did her little Elvis move and she did the little hand motion for "Hit the Road" (I did it to with her I didn't know she was gonna do it to) after that she went into BHC and once again the crowd went insane she was totally rocking out on this one and as always let us sing along and we did loud and proud to just like LN she had her little hand motions with the 4 wheel drive and things like that but she was really adorable. Sadly that was the end of the night but she thanked us for having her back again and said "god bless and have a safe trip home" and with that she ran off stage and yes as soon as she did the Fireworks started. Overall Carrie did another AMAZING job with this show and I cannot wait until October!
