There are currently 5 albums that are below #100 and have more than 78 weeks on the chart. They are:
#105 Carrie - Some Hearts
#115 Buckcherry - 15
#116 Fergie - The Dutchess
#120 Three Days Grace - One-X
#168 Rodney Atkins - If You're Going Throguh Hell
Now there has been clear indications that an active climbing single from the album will keep that album on the Billboard 200 after 78 week regardless of position. Of these 5 albums, only Rodney Atkin's album meets that requirement as Invisibly Shaken is currently climbing on the Country chart. So there is no question why that album remains on the Billboard 200.
Buckcherry's Sorry is currently on the Adult Top 40 chart, but it peaked back in late March/early April at #2 and is currently at #13. So it does not seem to qualify.
None of the other 3 albums have a currently active single on any of the various genre-specific airplay charts. However, all 3 have a song on one of the genre-specific recurrent charts.
However, there is a common factor for all 4 albums in question. A song from each album current appears on the Hot 100 Recurrent Airplay chart. They are:
#8 Big Girls Don't Cry (Fergie - The Dutchess)
#11 Never Too Late (Three Days Grace - One-X)
#12 Sorry (Buckcherry - 15)
#14 Before He Cheats (Carrie - Some Hearts)
Based on this, if Some Hearts in fact should have been removed from the Billboard 200, there are at least 2 other albums and maybe 3 that should also be removed. It does seem strange that there would be multiple similar errors on the chart. So there is at least a chance that this is not a mistake and they consider all the recurrent charts or at least the Hot 100 Recurrent Airplay chart.

Cary, I just discovered that BHC is still active on the Hot Ringtone chart. Would that be what's keeping SH alive? And, if so, then that might explain the other albums you listed as well. I know Crazy B1tch by Buckcherry is also on that list.
