From the start she's having I think Carrie's got a good chance of selling out most of her dates or at least coming close at most of the dates.
But opening up the top of the arenas would mean close to doubling the capacities for her shows and IMO Carrie's not at the level yet where she can sell that out consistently. She needs more time to build up to that point. I'd guess there are some cities where she could sell that amount. Also if we were talking a state fair or a resort or festival type concert she could do it. But arenas are a different animal and they're much harder to sell out. Also with the price of gas it would be very risky to try selling 12,000-15,000 tickets per concert.
This is Carrie's first full year headlining. It's more important for Carrie to sell out what they put on sale instead of going for bigger capacities and not selling out. After her next album comes out she can graduate to bigger crowds.
