Well, I got
very lucky at the Portland concert (I wasn't nearly as lucky at the Manchester one). So here's my story:
Ok, so the Portland concert was sold out until the day of the concert. I looked on the web page, and instead of saying "sold out" in big bold letters next to the place where it said "Pop-Tarts American Idols, Live!" like it had when I last checked it, it said "tickets are still available". So I had my mom call the box office, and the lady there said there were tickets for sale in the lower D section, which, compared to my seats at the Manchester concert, were awesome! So I was really excited but I was nervous because if they were sold out by the time we got there, I would have to go home or get tickets from people selling them outside the civic center. But luckily my dad ran into the box office, and came back smiling! Here's what he said happened:
Well, he asked if they were still selling tickets, and the lady asked how many we needed, and my dad said we needed 2. So the lady asked us if we were from **** (I don't want to post my actual town), and my dad said "yes". Then the lady said "Oh, your wife was so sweet and thoughtful on the phone- here are some good tickets" and we got 2 tickets for $45 each! But as we were driving to the parking area my dad wouldn't show me the tickets, and was trying to hide a smile. So I said "Dad, did you lie to me about getting tickets?" and he said no, they're right here- and he held them up. So he gave them to me and my jaw dropped. The ticket said: FLR 1!!!! We had front row floor seats!!!!!!!!!! I was so nervous that when my dad offered to get my something quick to eat I refused, even though on the ride there I was starving!
I thought the concert was awesome- Vonzell and Nadia waved to me, and Carrie smiled at me

I thought Jessica and Scott's duet was better than the one at the Manchester concert- it was incredible! I think I might've seen someone from here about 4 or 5 rows behind me- he was wearing a yellow shirt that said "Carrie U" on it, and it also said "Care Bear" (I think it said Care Bear at least). Then the concert ended, and after much persuading I got my dad to take me around the building! But there were so many people there I could barely see, so I had to get on my tip-toes. After maybe 5 minutes of scanning around I finally realized that Carrie was about 10 or 15 feet away from me signing autographs! I tried so hard to get one, but then she got on the bus

I was so sad I started crying! Lots of people were looking at me, and I think I embarassed my dad, but I just couldn't stop crying! And then Anthony came out to sign autographs and people were being nice to me and letting me get a little closer to the gate so I could get an autograph from Anthony. So he came around to where I was, and he took my ticket and saw me crying and said "Awww, what's wrong! Don't cry!" And then he said "How about a hug?" and he leaned in and hugged me! I was still sad, and I was still crying, but I was a little happier. Anthony was really nice! Now he's one of my favorites! Then I got Nikko and Constantine's autograph, and then Nadia took her poncho from the water fight off and signed my ticket, and then Vonzell came, signed my ticket, and took a picture with me, and then I got Jessica's autograph. I'm still sad about not meeting Carrie, but now I'm even more determined to meet her

I'll probably post pictures later, it's just that my computer's being slow today and the pictures won't load on the internet... but since I was so close I got detailed pictures of Carrie!
